We all know that when a cycle starts with a beginning in time has to end or finish the cycle, it is written in nature and the universe, and in the sayings, everything starts over. And there is the exception of our natural star, the Sun, as solar cycles have a period generally, according to astrophysicists, about 11 years, which in the current solar cycle is our star is about to end, what which means that the Sun happens to the solar magnetic field is reversed. This means that the poles of the sun, both north and south, changes its polarity, ie, the former north will be south and south is north above. This pretty much happens in the next three to four months to come, we can say that this is a completely normal phenomenon in the Sun
What the experts tell us? According to the Solar Physicist, Todd Hoeksema, Stanford University, California, in the United States said: "... this change will have repercussions throughout the solar system ..." (1)
Wait! Which means you will have repercussions throughout the solar system? The answer to this, perhaps, disturbing question is, when the poles are reversed reorganizing the sun's inner dynamo, which involves light, to intense solar activity, which is commonly called as Solar Max by physicists.
During this phase, energy eruptions can increase ultraviolet cosmic rays arriving at Earth interfering with radio signals, satellites, which already could comment in previous post, even could affect the global temperature of the Earth, or as shown in some studies to cloudiness and climate of our planet, but I think that would have to prove it scientifically. But not only affect the Earth's magnetic field, but also that of all the planets belonging to the solar system.
It means that this class of natural phenomena that occurs outside our planet, have been studied since 1976, which from that time have been observed three investments of our natural star, the Sun, thanks to the Solar Observatory Stanford Wilcox, whose magnetograms study the sun's polar magnetism. And our colleagues at NASA have been able to confirm this event as a full polarity change of the magnetic field of the sun (3)
And how does this investment in the Sun? As said Phil Scherrer, a solar physicist at Stanford, says: "... the Sun's polar magnetic fields are weakened are at zero, and then emerge lately with the opposite polarity ..." (1)
It is, therefore, that when you finish this solar cycle the sun enters a state of "hibernation" but that's not all, according to three independent studies on the surface, the interior and the upper atmosphere of the Sun agree that the next solar cycle be delayed much. (2)
But we must try to understand the reason for this state of the sun. But what we do know is that when a violent phenomenon occurs in the end, is more calm. As the data show that will take place soon what is known as solar minimum, ie, a period of low solar activity.
